Under the Makovecz Scholarship Program, offered by the Tempus Foundation (Hungary) through Babeș-Bolyai University, students enrolled in undergraduate, master’s or doctoral programs can benefit from long- or short-term study mobility.

The Makovecz program supports Hungarian-language higher education abroad. The Government of Hungary provides special support to Hungarian students from abroad studying courses in Hungarian, to increase student mobility. 

Hungarian students from abroad, as well as students from Hungary or other regions in the Carpathian Basin where there is academic education with teaching in Hungarian, thus have the opportunity to participate in a 1–5-month mobility in the partner institutions.
